Volunteer With the Chicago Urban Book Expo
Help us create an unforgettable experience for authors, readers, and guests at the 11th Annual Chicago Urban Book Expo, September 25–27, 2026, at the Hilton Rosemont.
We are seeking dependable, friendly volunteers to assist with line management, author support, attendee check-in, guest directions, setup, breakdown, and other event needs. Selected volunteers will receive a volunteer shirt and complimentary admission to the event or events during which they are scheduled to work. Anyone who has already purchased a ticket for their assigned volunteer day or event will receive a refund for the applicable ticket after their placement is confirmed.
